Private Yoga

When I say "I teach private yoga!" I get blank stares, it is hard to imagine what that entails. Private yoga classes are not something you hear about much, but think of a private trainer, a Pro Golf lesson, a private swimming lesson or batting practice for your littles. When you think of yoga classes maybe you think about group classes, lots of very thin women, dressed in matching athletic wear, simultaneously in a backbend pose. That's a nice image, but there are many more variables in yoga.
At Rayne Or Shine Yoga we concentrate on small and private classes. Inviting a more intimate setting. Making a more personalized experience that celebrate the individual as they are and where they are in their health journey. A private yoga class could be learning the practice, the poses, breathing, and meditation skills to deepen and support a lifelong home practice later down the road. It could be used as a bridge to finding the confidence to take group classes eventually. Maybe private yoga classes are truly used as a selfcare method, (given as a gift to yourself or a gift to/from another). Or maybe its a fun thing to do with friends, family, or co-workers. One private yoga class could change the way you practice and the way you exercise. A series of private yoga classes could create transformational change in your life.
So, why would you choose private yoga? It could be an injury, say the student is injured and needs personalized modifications and more a personalized sequence of poses. Illness is another reason someone might want to work with a private yoga teacher. Maybe the financial cost of a private lesson is really a lot, but you place a very high priority on self care and this is how you decide to spend those self care dollars. There are people that have very private lives and like the protection felt in a private yoga class. There are students that have abundant resources, have a lot of things catered to them in life, and they want their yoga to be one of those things. People who are self conscious about there body, their flexibility level, or strength level and are shy about practicing in a public class. Maybe you want to go deeper into your practice and want to be able to ask a lot of questions. You might be a student that has an intense time constraint on your schedule and just need yoga to be brought to you to practice at all. Sometimes a student may be going through emotional challenges and decide to spend their precious self care dollars with a private teacher to receive that deeper sense of emotional support. Or a student just needs and outside motivator to commit to their health journey. OR maybe a student does not want to do "yoga" because they think it is weird or not for them, but they want to have more flexibility and strength. They want to have better mindfulness and focus, more peace and relaxation and a private lesson can be tuned to their needs. There are so many more variables why a private yoga teacher is a good fit. There are so many benefits to a private yoga teacher student relationship. Why and how could it be good for you?
Maybe you just want (NEED) to have an authentic connection with an authentic human being!?
If any of these sound like you... and you want to schedule a free discovery class to talk about private sessions. If you have thoughts, questions, or an opinion, let me have it! Please contact through my website rayneorshineyoga.offeringtree.com or email me at rayneorshineyoga@gmail.com
